What is Tikkun? תיקון
Tikkun (תיקון) is a Hebrew word meaning repair, fixing, or rectification. In Kabbalistic thought, it describes the process of restoring balance within the soul and the world.
Every soul is believed to arrive with specific lessons that must be refined. These lessons often appear as repeating life patterns, emotional triggers, or challenges that guide us toward growth. This process of correction is known as Tikkun HaNefesh — the rectification of the soul.
When individuals work through their inner corrections, they also contribute to Tikkun Olam — the healing of the world. Tikkun is not punishment. It is a divinely designed opportunity for spiritual evolution.

What is Virtue?
While Tikkun represents the soul's lesson, Virtue represents the strength that helps resolve that lesson. Virtue reflects the natural qualities a person was born with to support their soul's mission.
When these virtues are consciously cultivated, the soul gradually restores balance and alignment. In Kabbalistic mysticism this process is often described as elevating divine sparks hidden within everyday life.
Through awareness, compassion, discipline, and love in action, the soul participates in the repair of creation.

Year Value
